The Royal Association for Deaf People is providing independent advocacy to deaf, deafblind and hard-of-hearing people in Derbyshire.
An advocate can support you with:
- Representing your views, decisions and wishes.
- Making sure you know your rights.
- Looking at your options/choices.
- Helping you feel in control and empowered.
- Accessing and understanding information by translating written English into BSL.
- Making sure reasonable adjustments are made to meet your needs.
